Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily logistics operations, including order processing, warehouse management, and transportation scheduling.
- Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock counts, and reconcile discrepancies to maintain accurate records.
- Optimize delivery routes and schedules to ensure timely and cost-effective distribution of goods.
- Liaise with suppliers, vendors, and freight forwarders to track shipments and resolve any supply chain issues.
- Prepare and process all necessary shipping documentation, including invoices, packing lists, and customs forms.
- Manage and oversee warehouse staff, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and operational best practices.
- Utilize logistics software and systems to enhance operational efficiency and data accuracy.
- Analyze logistics data to identify areas for improvement and implement strategic solutions.
- Ensure compliance with all local and international shipping regulations and company policies.
- Provide regular reports on logistics performance, inventory status, and delivery metrics to management.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse management.
- Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., WMS, TMS) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles and practices.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Proven ability to optimize routes and manage complex delivery schedules.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Certification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management (e.g., CSCP, CPIM).
