Key Responsibilities
- Execute thorough pre-flight safety checks, ensuring all cabin equipment is in proper working order and ready for service.
- Deliver engaging, clear, and informative safety briefings to passengers before take-off and demonstrate emergency procedures.
- Provide outstanding customer service, responding to passenger needs and resolving issues with professionalism, empathy, and efficiency.
- Serve meals, beverages, and duty-free products in a timely and courteous manner, adhering to all company guidelines.
- Maintain cabin cleanliness, tidiness, and order throughout the flight to ensure a pleasant passenger experience.
- Manage and respond effectively to in-flight emergencies, including administering first aid when necessary, and evacuating passengers if required.
- Ensure strict adherence to all aviation safety regulations, company policies, and security procedures at all times.
- Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, including those requiring special assistance, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Complete all necessary paperwork and reports accurately and promptly after each flight segment, including incident reports.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 12 months of experience in a customer-facing role (e.g., retail, hospitality, healthcare, or similar service industries).
- Excellent command of English (written and spoken); additional language proficiency is a significant advantage.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Ability to remain calm, professional, and effective under pressure and in challenging situations.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive, 'can-do' approach to service delivery.
- High degree of personal presentation, grooming standards, and a professional demeanor.
- Must hold a valid passport allowing unrestricted international travel and be eligible to work in the UK.
- Ability to swim at least 25 metres unaided and tread water for 1 minute.
- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and public holidays, on a rotating roster.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Flight Attendant or in a similar role within the airline industry.
- Current certification in First Aid and CPR.
- Proficiency in additional languages relevant to common international travel routes from the UK.
- Experience in conflict resolution or de-escalation techniques within a customer service environment.
