Key Responsibilities
- Perform precise cutting, filleting, and portioning of various fish species according to production specifications.
- Clean, gut, and prepare fish efficiently while minimizing waste.
- Operate and maintain cutting tools and machinery safely and effectively.
- Adhere strictly to all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations (HACCP, CFIA standards).
- Monitor product quality throughout the cutting process, identifying and reporting any deviations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station at all times.
- Assist with packing, weighing, and labeling of finished products as required.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet daily production targets.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, especially those related to workplace safety.
- Participate in regular clean-up and sanitation duties of the processing area.
