Career.zycto is actively seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator with a professional background in warehouse and delivery operations to join our dynamic team in Bellefield, Mandeville. This pivotal role is essential for ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods from our warehouse to our valued customers. Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily inbound and outbound logistics activities, including receiving, storage, and dispatch of goods.
- Schedule and track deliveries, ensuring timely and accurate shipment to customers.
- Manage inventory levels, conducting regular audits and reconciling discrepancies to maintain accurate stock records.
- Optimize warehouse space utilization and streamline operational workflows for maximum efficiency.
- Liaise with internal teams (sales, customer service, warehouse) and external partners (suppliers, carriers) to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Prepare and process all necessary shipping documentation, customs forms, and permits.
- Monitor carrier performance and resolve any shipping or delivery issues promptly.
- Implement and enforce health, safety, and quality standards within the warehouse and delivery operations.
- Analyze logistics data to identify areas for improvement and implement cost-saving strategies.
- Assist in the training and supervision of warehouse staff on best practices and company policies.
- Utilize logistics software and tracking systems to maintain real-time visibility of all shipments.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (2+ years) in logistics, warehouse operations, or supply chain management.
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles and warehouse best practices.
- Proficiency in logistics software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of local and international shipping regulations and documentation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
