In this pivotal full-time role, you will be instrumental in securing new business and expanding our market presence by leading the end-to-end bid management process. As a Bid Manager at Career.zycto, you will be the central point of contact for all bid-related activities, from initial qualification and strategy development through to submission and post-bid feedback. You will work closely with sales, technical experts, legal, and finance teams to gather information, define solutions, and ensure all proposals are meticulously prepared and delivered on time. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the entire bid lifecycle, from qualification and strategy development to submission and post-bid analysis.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (sales, technical, legal, finance) to gather inputs and develop comprehensive bid responses.
  • Develop a clear bid strategy, including win themes, value propositions, and differentiators.
  • Write, edit, and review persuasive and technically accurate proposal content, ensuring brand consistency and compliance.
  • Manage bid timelines, resources, and budgets effectively, ensuring on-time delivery of high-quality submissions.
  • Conduct risk assessments and identify potential issues, proposing mitigation strategies.
  • Facilitate reviews and sign-offs with senior management and key stakeholders.
  • Maintain a library of reusable bid content and best practices.
  • Participate in client clarification calls and presentations as required.

Required Skills

  • 3+ years of experience in bid management, proposal writing, or sales support roles.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and winning complex bids.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English and German (C1 level minimum).
  • Strong project management and organizational abilities, with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strategic thinking with a keen understanding of sales processes and client needs.
  • Experience in a professional services or IT solutions environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • APMP Foundation or Practitioner certification.
  • Experience with CRM systems and bid management software.
  • Familiarity with public sector procurement processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate across diverse teams.
