Your primary responsibilities will include processing ticket sales accurately and efficiently, providing essential and up-to-date information about screenings, event schedules, and special promotions, and assisting patrons with their inquiries. Key Responsibilities

  • Process ticket sales accurately and efficiently using our dedicated ticketing system for various film screenings and events.
  • Handle cash and electronic payments, ensuring precise reconciliation and adherence to financial procedures at the end of each shift.
  • Provide comprehensive and up-to-date information about film schedules, event details, pricing, special promotions, and festival passes to patrons.
  • Greet all guests with a warm, friendly, and professional demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression and exceptional customer experience.
  • Address customer inquiries, resolve minor issues, and provide directions or assistance as needed with a helpful and patient approach.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and professional ticketing counter and waiting area, ensuring a welcoming environment.
  • Assist with ushering and crowd management during peak periods, special events, and film premieres, as required.
  • Collaborate effectively with other team members, including event coordinators, ushers, and management, to ensure smooth operational flow.
  • Adhere strictly to all company policies and procedures regarding sales, cash handling, security, and customer service standards.
  • Actively promote ZIFF's mission, upcoming events, and membership programs to engage the community and enhance festival participation.

  • Fluency in both Swahili and English; knowledge of additional languages is considered a significant asset.
