Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator with a strong focus on warehouse operations and delivery management to join a leading client in Meadowbrook, St. Andrew. Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor all aspects of the supply chain, from inventory management to order fulfillment and delivery.
- Manage warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods efficiently.
- Plan and optimize delivery routes, schedules, and transportation logistics to ensure timely and cost-effective shipments.
- Liaise with suppliers, transporters, and internal departments to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing shipments, inventory levels, and delivery documentation.
- Implement and enforce health, safety, and quality standards within the warehouse and during delivery processes.
- Generate regular reports on logistics performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of proven experience in a logistics, warehouse, or supply chain coordination role.
- Proficiency in logistics software, inventory management systems (IMS), and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel).
- Strong understanding of warehousing best practices, shipping regulations, and transportation methods.
- Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to problem-solve, make informed decisions, and work effectively under pressure.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with various stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
