Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive media relations strategies aligned with Career.zycto's overall communication objectives.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key journalists, editors, producers, and influential bloggers across print, broadcast, and digital media.
- Draft and edit compelling press releases, media advisories, pitches, Q&As, and other communication materials.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all media inquiries, managing responses and coordinating interviews with internal spokespeople.
- Proactively identify media opportunities and pitch engaging stories to secure positive coverage for Career.zycto's initiatives, products, and thought leadership.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on media coverage and public perception, utilizing insights to refine future communication strategies.
- Prepare and brief spokespeople for media interviews, press conferences, and public appearances.
- Support crisis communication efforts by assisting in the development and dissemination of appropriate messaging.
- Organize and manage media events, press conferences, and briefings, ensuring seamless execution.
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitive landscape, and news cycles to identify relevant communication opportunities and threats.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in media relations, public relations, or corporate communications.
- Proven track record of securing significant media coverage across diverse platforms.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both German and English.
- Strong understanding of media landscapes, news cycles, and journalist requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute effective media strategies.
- Proficiency in media monitoring and analytics tools.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
