As an A&R Administrator, you will be at the heart of our operations, providing comprehensive administrative support to the A&R team. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the A&R department, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and coordinating travel arrangements.
  • Maintain and update the artist database, ensuring all information (demos, contacts, contracts) is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Process incoming demo submissions, log relevant details, and route them to appropriate A&R managers for review.
  • Prepare and format various documents, presentations, and reports, including artist profiles, deal memos, and market research summaries.
  • Assist with the coordination of recording sessions, showcases, and promotional events.
  • Liaise with artists, managers, legal teams, and other internal departments to ensure seamless communication and project execution.
  • Track key project milestones and deadlines, proactively flagging potential delays or issues to the A&R team.
  • Manage expense reports and process invoices related to A&R activities.
  • Assist in research on emerging artists, industry trends, and competitive landscapes.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality regarding sensitive artist and company information.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience (2+ years) in an administrative support role, preferably within the music, entertainment, or creative industries.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and database management systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Discretion and the ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
  • A genuine passion for music and a good understanding of the current music landscape.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Music Business, Arts Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience with CRM software or dedicated A&R management tools.
  • Knowledge of music licensing, publishing, and recording agreements.
  • Familiarity with digital audio workstations (DAWs) or music production software.
  • Ability to identify and articulate emerging musical trends and talent.
