Key Responsibilities

  • Provide person-centred care and support to clients in their homes during weekend shifts.
  • Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, whilst promoting dignity and respect.
  • Support with medication management, ensuring adherence to prescribed routines.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks, assisting with feeding if required.
  • Undertake light household duties, such as tidying, laundry, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support, engaging clients in conversation and activities.
  • Assist with mobility and transfers, using equipment safely where necessary.
  • Accurately document care provided and report any changes in client's condition or concerns to the care coordinator.
  • Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and company policies and procedures.

  • Full UK driving license and access to a reliable vehicle (beneficial but not always essential for Wandsworth routes).
  • Basic First Aid certification.
