Key Responsibilities
- Provide person-centred care and support to clients in their homes during weekend shifts.
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, whilst promoting dignity and respect.
- Support with medication management, ensuring adherence to prescribed routines.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks, assisting with feeding if required.
- Undertake light household duties, such as tidying, laundry, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
- Provide companionship and emotional support, engaging clients in conversation and activities.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, using equipment safely where necessary.
- Accurately document care provided and report any changes in client's condition or concerns to the care coordinator.
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and company policies and procedures.
