Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine laboratory tests and analyses under supervision, accurately following established protocols and procedures.
- Prepare samples, reagents, and solutions with precision and attention to detail.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring proper functionality and cleanliness.
- Accurately record, compile, and present experimental data, observations, and results.
- Assist senior researchers in conducting experiments and collecting data.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment, adhering to all safety guidelines and protocols.
- Monitor inventory levels of supplies and reagents, assisting with ordering and stock rotation.
- Document all work thoroughly in laboratory notebooks and electronic systems.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate findings clearly.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a scientific field (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry) is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of laboratory techniques and safety procedures.
- Proficiency in using standard laboratory equipment (e.g., pipettes, centrifuges, pH meters).
