Key Responsibilities
- Manage, organize, and maintain all physical and electronic legal files, documents, and records with meticulous accuracy.
- Prepare, proofread, and process legal forms, petitions, orders, and correspondence, ensuring compliance with legal standards and internal guidelines.
- Assist legal counsel and other team members with legal research, case preparation, and the compilation of evidence or supporting documentation.
- Coordinate and schedule appointments, hearings, meetings, and deadlines, managing calendars and sending timely reminders.
- Ensure strict adherence to all legal procedures, deadlines, and regulatory requirements relevant to our operations.
- Liaise effectively with internal departments, external legal professionals, and other stakeholders, handling inquiries and facilitating communication.
- Maintain the utmost confidentiality and discretion regarding sensitive legal information and company data at all times.
- Input and update data in legal management systems and databases, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
- Process incoming and outgoing mail, managing deliveries and preparing packages as required for legal submissions.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (minimum 3 years) as a Clerk of Court, Legal Administrator, or similar role.
- Proficiency in German legal terminology, court procedures, and administrative practices.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in both German and English.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and legal database software.
- Impeccable attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in all tasks.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a professional, fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- A formal qualification or certification in legal administration, paralegal studies, or a related field.
