Career.zycto is seeking compassionate and dedicated Live-In Care Workers to join our expanding team in Dalry, Edinburgh. This unique opportunity allows you to provide essential, person-centred care and companionship to individuals within their own homes, fostering independence and enhancing their quality of life. Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive personal care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
- Administer medication as prescribed, adhering strictly to care plans and recording protocols.
- Prepare nutritious and appealing meals, considering dietary requirements and preferences.
- Offer companionship and engage clients in stimulating activities, fostering mental and emotional well-being.
- Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and maintaining a tidy and comfortable living environment.
- Accompany clients to appointments, social outings, or errands as required.
- Monitor and record health changes, reporting any concerns promptly to the care manager.
- Manage household tasks and contribute to the smooth running of the client's home.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date care records and daily logs.
- Respect client privacy, dignity, and independence at all times.

- Full eligibility to work in the UK.
Preferred Qualifications
- SVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent qualification).
- Previous experience as a Live-In Care Worker or in a similar care role.
- Valid UK driving license and access to a car (though not always essential, can be beneficial).
- Training certificates in First Aid, Manual Handling, Dementia Care, or other relevant areas.
