Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages (espresso, latte, cappuccino, etc.) according to established recipes and quality standards.
- Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee-making equipment.
- Take customer orders accurately, process payments, and provide exceptional customer service.
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, building rapport and ensuring a positive experience.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting work environment, including front-of-house and preparation areas.
- Monitor inventory of coffee beans, milk, and other supplies, and assist with restocking as needed.
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning and cash handling.
- Handle customer feedback and inquiries with professionalism and a problem-solving attitude.
- Contribute to a positive team atmosphere and assist colleagues as required.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Barista or in a similar customer service role (minimum 6 months preferred).
- Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and equipment operation.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic math skills for handling cash and making change.
