Career.zycto is seeking a meticulous and dedicated Housekeeper to join our team in Coalpit Heath, Bristol. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily cleaning and sanitization of assigned rooms and common areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and polishing surfaces.
  • Change linens, make beds, and replenish amenities such as towels, toiletries, and informational materials.
  • Clean bathrooms thoroughly, including scrubbing showers, toilets, sinks, and ensuring all fixtures are sparkling.
  • Empty waste bins, dispose of refuse responsibly, and maintain cleanliness of waste areas.
  • Report any maintenance issues, damage, or safety hazards immediately to the appropriate supervisor.
  • Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations, including the proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized storage area for cleaning supplies and equipment.
  • Handle guest/client requests promptly and courteously, ensuring privacy and minimizing disturbance.
  • Inspect rooms upon completion to ensure all standards are met before reporting them ready for occupancy.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in housekeeping or a similar cleaning role.
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies, and proper usage.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
  • Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a hotel, guesthouse, or residential cleaning environment.
  • Familiarity with COSHH regulations (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic understanding of English for effective communication.
