Key Responsibilities
- Perform initial and ongoing data review and validation of clinical trial data within Electronic Data Capture (EDC) systems.
- Generate, track, and resolve data queries by communicating effectively with clinical sites and internal project teams.
- Assist in the development and review of data management plans, case report forms, and other essential study documents.
- Ensure strict adherence to study protocols, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and relevant regulatory guidelines (e.g., GCP, ICH).
- Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) for EDC systems, reporting tools, and other data management applications.
- Maintain accurate, complete, and organized documentation of all data management activities and audit trails.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with clinical operations, biostatistics, medical writing, and safety teams to support overall study objectives.
- Contribute to the identification and implementation of process improvements within the data management workflow to enhance efficiency and data quality.
- Actively participate in and apply comprehensive training sessions on clinical data management principles, software, and industry best practices.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent; a post-secondary diploma or Bachelor's degree is preferred but not strictly required.
- Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and strong organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for data manipulation and communication.
