Key Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal care, mobility, and mealtimes, always maintaining dignity and respect.
- Support the implementation of individualised care plans, observing and reporting any changes in residents' physical or emotional well-being.
- Engage residents in meaningful social, recreational, and therapeutic activities to promote mental stimulation and overall quality of life.
- Act as a positive role model and provide peer support to new or less experienced team members, demonstrating best practices in care.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents, adhering to all health and safety guidelines.
- Communicate effectively and empathetically with residents, their families, and healthcare professionals.
- Accurately complete and maintain resident care records and documentation.
- Administer medication as prescribed and meticulously record details, following all necessary protocols (upon completion of relevant training).
