Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently receive, unload, and process incoming stock deliveries, verifying accuracy against manifests.
- Organize and store inventory in designated areas, ensuring optimal space utilization and easy accessibility.
- Regularly replenish shelves, displays, and promotional areas with merchandise, following planograms and merchandising guidelines.
- Conduct routine stock checks and inventory counts to maintain accurate records and identify discrepancies.
- Rotate stock to ensure older items are sold first, minimizing waste and maintaining product freshness.
- Ensure all stock is correctly priced and labelled according to company standards.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe working environment in stockrooms and on the shop floor.
- Assist customers with product location and basic inquiries when necessary, providing excellent service.
- Report damaged, faulty, or expired products to management promptly.
- Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
