Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of all designated areas within York Railway Station, including concourses, platforms, waiting rooms, restrooms, offices, and staff areas.
- Operate and maintain a variety of cleaning equipment, such as vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, and pressure washers, ensuring their proper and safe use.
- Replenish supplies in restrooms, kitchens, and other areas as needed.
- Empty waste bins and dispose of rubbish in accordance with waste management procedures.
- Clean and sanitize surfaces, fixtures, and fittings to prevent the spread of germs and maintain a hygienic environment.
- Report any maintenance issues, damage, or safety hazards observed during shifts to the supervisor.
- Adhere strictly to health and safety guidelines, COSHH regulations, and company cleaning standards.
- Work independently and as part of a team to complete assigned tasks efficiently within the night shift.
