Key Responsibilities
- Plan, conduct, and report on internal compliance audits across various operational areas and departments.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of existing internal controls and identify areas of non-compliance or potential risk.
- Develop and implement comprehensive audit plans and programs aligned with regulatory requirements and company objectives.
- Prepare clear, concise, and objective audit reports detailing findings, recommendations, and corrective action plans.
- Collaborate with management and relevant stakeholders to ensure timely and effective remediation of identified issues.
- Monitor legislative and regulatory changes, assessing their impact on the organization and recommending necessary policy or procedural updates.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on compliance matters to internal teams and senior management.
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of all audit activities, findings, and follow-up actions.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Compliance Auditor or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of auditing principles, compliance frameworks, and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, local German regulations).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting complex information clearly.
- Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
