Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the end-to-end planning, coordination, and execution of various cultural events, including festivals, exhibitions, workshops, and performances.
  • Support event managers with logistical arrangements, venue bookings, supplier liaison, and volunteer management.
  • Contribute to the development of promotional materials, including social media content, press releases, and website updates.
  • Manage event administrative tasks, including maintaining databases, processing invoices, and responding to enquiries.
  • Provide on-site support during events, ensuring smooth operations, participant engagement, and problem resolution.
  • Conduct post-event evaluations, compile feedback, and assist in preparing reports to assess success and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with local community groups, artists, and cultural organisations to identify partnership opportunities and enhance event offerings.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in event coordination or project management, preferably within cultural or community sectors.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with social media platforms.
