Job Description

Armour Security, a leading security and crowd management provider in Jamaica, is urgently seeking enthusiastic and vigilant individuals to join our team as Stadium Crowd Support staff. This is an exciting opportunity for immediate hire, playing a crucial role in managing events and creating a welcoming atmosphere for patrons within De La Vega City, Spanish Town and surrounding areas.

As a Stadium Crowd Support team member, you will be the friendly and reassuring face of the event, guiding attendees, providing assistance, and maintaining order. Your primary focus will be on ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all visitors, from the moment they enter until they depart. This involves proactive engagement, clear communication, and quick, effective responses to any situation that may arise. You’ll be instrumental in directing traffic flow, assisting with seating, answering questions, and working closely with security personnel to uphold event policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and direct patrons to their designated seating areas or facilities.
  • Monitor assigned sections for any safety hazards, unruly behaviour, or policy violations.
  • Provide clear and helpful information to attendees regarding event schedules, facilities, and emergency procedures.
  • Assist with crowd flow management, ensuring smooth entry and exit from the venue.
  • Report any incidents, emergencies, or suspicious activities to appropriate security personnel or supervisors immediately.
  • Respond calmly and effectively to patron inquiries, complaints, and minor emergencies.
  • Enforce venue rules and regulations in a respectful and professional manner.
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members, security, and emergency services.
  • Ensure all accessible areas are clear and pathways are unobstructed.
  • Participate in pre-event briefings and post-event debriefings.
