Bakhresa Group, a powerhouse in the Tanzanian industrial landscape, is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented E-commerce Manager to lead our online store operations in Mpanda, Katavi Region. In this pivotal full-time role, you will be instrumental in shaping our digital sales strategy, enhancing our online customer experience, and significantly contributing to our growth trajectory. You will oversee all aspects of our e-commerce platform, from website management and digital marketing to inventory coordination and customer service integration. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive e-commerce strategies to achieve sales targets and expand market share.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the online store, including product listings, inventory synchronization, and order fulfillment processes.
  • Oversee digital marketing campaigns (SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing) to drive traffic and conversion.
  • Analyze website performance using analytics tools, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with product development, marketing, and logistics teams to ensure seamless product launches and customer experiences.
  • Manage customer relationship management (CRM) for online customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Identify and implement new e-commerce technologies and features to enhance the user experience and operational efficiency.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Develop and manage the e-commerce budget, ensuring cost-effective strategies and optimal return on investment.
  • Prepare regular reports on e-commerce performance, sales trends, and marketing effectiveness for senior management.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience (at least 4 years) in managing and growing an e-commerce platform.
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce best practices, digital marketing, and web analytics.
  • Proficiency with major e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce).
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in English and Swahili (written and spoken) for effective communication.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators.
  • In-depth knowledge of SEO, SEM, social media marketing, and email marketing strategies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Master's degree or professional certification in E-commerce or Digital Marketing.
  • Experience in the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) or Retail industry.
  • Familiarity with graphic design tools for basic content creation and asset management.
  • Experience with ERP systems integration into e-commerce platforms for streamlined operations.
