Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute financial audit engagements from planning to completion, ensuring compliance with auditing standards and internal methodologies.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, identifying weaknesses and providing recommendations for improvement.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of financial statements, records, operations, and business processes to assess accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare comprehensive audit reports detailing findings, risks, and proposed corrective actions.
- Present audit results and recommendations to senior management and relevant stakeholders.
- Monitor and follow up on the implementation of audit recommendations.
- Stay abreast of changes in accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external clients to facilitate audit processes and ensure smooth information flow.
- Assist in the development and enhancement of audit methodologies and tools.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in financial auditing and compliance.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS) and auditing standards (ISA).
