Netdigix Systems Inc. is seeking a dedicated Network Support Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Burke Mountain, Coquitlam. In this pivotal full-time role, you will be the frontline support for our diverse clientele, ensuring their network infrastructures are stable, secure, and performing optimally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first and second-level technical support for network infrastructure issues, including LAN/WAN connectivity, Wi-Fi, VPNs, and firewalls.
  • Monitor network performance and availability, proactively identifying and resolving potential issues before they impact operations.
  • Perform routine network maintenance tasks, updates, and configuration changes.
  • Assist with the installation, configuration, and deployment of network hardware and software.
  • Document network configurations, troubleshooting steps, and incident resolutions in our ticketing system.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, providing clear explanations of technical issues and solutions.
  • Collaborate with senior network engineers to escalate complex issues and implement advanced solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures related to network access and data integrity.
  • Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support as required.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our service delivery processes and client satisfaction.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in network support or a similar IT role.
  • Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and common networking protocols.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting network connectivity issues (wired and wireless).
  • Experience with configuring and managing network devices such as routers, switches (Cisco, Ubiquiti, Meraki preferred), and firewalls.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a client-facing environment.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for occasional on-site client visits.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Industry certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or equivalent.
  • Experience with virtualized environments (VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Familiarity with cloud networking concepts (Azure, AWS).
  • Experience with remote monitoring and management (RMM) tools.
