As a Remote Job Search Support Specialist, you will be responsible for a diverse range of tasks, from assisting with resume and cover letter optimization to preparing candidates for interviews and strategizing effective job search techniques. You will leverage your excellent communication skills and understanding of modern recruitment practices to offer personalized advice and foster a sense of confidence in our clients. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide one-on-one virtual coaching and support to job seekers on effective job search strategies.
  • Review and provide constructive feedback on resumes, cover letters, and LinkedIn profiles.
  • Conduct mock interviews and offer guidance on interview preparation techniques.
  • Assist clients in identifying career goals, relevant job opportunities, and networking strategies.
  • Maintain detailed records of client interactions and progress using our internal CRM system.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, job market demands, and best practices in career development.
  • Develop and deliver workshops or webinars on job search-related topics as needed.
  • Collaborate with the broader Career.zycto team to share insights and improve service delivery.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in career counseling, recruitment, or HR.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in modern job search tools and platforms (LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of resume formatting, ATS compatibility, and cover letter best practices.
  • Demonstrated empathy, patience, and ability to motivate individuals.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a diverse client caseload in a remote setting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.
  • Certification in career coaching or counseling (e.g., NCDA, ICF).
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and CRM software.
  • Familiarity with the Long Beach, California job market.
