Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the comprehensive cleaning, lubrication, and basic preventative maintenance of various farm equipment and machinery, including tractors, cultivators, planters, sprayers, and irrigation systems.
  • Support skilled farm technicians in conducting minor repairs, adjustments, and troubleshooting initial equipment issues, learning on the job.
  • Ensure all tools, parts, and equipment are meticulously cleaned, properly stored, organized, and accounted for in the designated areas after each use.
  • Conduct thorough pre-operation checks and prepare equipment for daily tasks, including verifying fuel levels, checking fluid levels (oil, coolant), tire pressure, and conducting basic safety inspections.
  • Operate basic hand tools, power tools, and small farm machinery safely and efficiently under direct supervision.
  • Maintain exceptional cleanliness and orderliness within the equipment shed, workshop area, and surrounding farm premises.
  • Adhere strictly to all farm safety regulations, operational guidelines, and company policies to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
  • Proactively report any equipment malfunctions, damage, safety hazards, or discrepancies immediately to supervisors or designated maintenance personnel.
  • Assist with a variety of general farm duties as needed, providing support for planting, weeding, harvesting, packing, and other agricultural activities.

Required Skills
