Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive financial assessments of clients to determine their eligibility and capacity for various mortgage products.
- Advise clients on the most suitable mortgage solutions from JN Bank's portfolio, explaining terms, conditions, and repayment structures clearly.
- Guide clients through the entire mortgage application process, ensuring all required documentation is accurately completed and submitted in a timely manner.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of JN Bank's mortgage products, lending criteria, market trends, and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, real estate agents, and other industry professionals to generate leads and foster trust.
- Actively participate in sales and marketing initiatives to promote JN Bank's mortgage services and achieve individual and team sales targets.
- Ensure strict adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and external regulatory guidelines pertaining to mortgage lending.
- Address client inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally, enhancing the overall customer experience.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 4 years of proven experience in financial services, specifically in mortgage lending or a related advisory role.
- Strong understanding of mortgage products, lending principles, and regulatory frameworks in Jamaica.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information clearly.
- Demonstrated sales acumen and a track record of achieving sales targets.
- Proficiency in financial analysis and the ability to assess client creditworthiness.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and customer service orientation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CRM or banking software.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., JIE, Chartered Banker, or similar financial advisory certifications).
- Established network within the real estate or financial industry in Kingston.
- Experience with digital mortgage application platforms.
