Key Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople (e.g., bricklayers, carpenters, electricians) on site.
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and loading/unloading materials.
- Operate and maintain a variety of hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Handle and transport construction materials (e.g., cement, bricks, timber) to designated areas.
- Erect and dismantle temporary structures such as scaffolding and site hoardings under supervision.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including tidying up work areas and disposing of waste.
- Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations and procedures.
- Perform general labour duties as required to support site operations.
Required Skills
- Physical fitness and stamina for manual labour.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team.
- Basic understanding of construction site safety procedures.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to perform tasks diligently in various weather conditions.
- Effective communication skills (English).
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a construction environment (6+ months).
- Valid CSCS Card (Construction Skills Certification Scheme).
