Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and accurately record incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Organize and maintain the warehouse and storage areas, ensuring proper product placement and easy accessibility.
- Assist with regular inventory counts and audits to ensure accuracy of stock levels.
- Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling products according to order specifications.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment safely, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks (training provided).
- Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies or low stock to supervisors.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure efficient workflow.
- Perform data entry for inventory movements and maintain accurate records using our inventory management system.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic mathematical skills for counting and calculations.
- Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic computer proficiency, including familiarity with spreadsheets and data entry.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, retail, or inventory-related role (even part-time or volunteer).
- Familiarity with inventory management software or systems.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license.
- Certification in operating material handling equipment (e.g., forklift) is a plus, but not required for entry-level.
