Job Description

Career.zycto is seeking a passionate and driven Learning and Development Specialist to join our vibrant Human Resources team in Brent, London. In this critical role, you will be instrumental in designing, delivering, and evaluating impactful learning experiences for our predominantly English-speaking global workforce. You will work closely with various departments to identify training needs, develop engaging content, and implement innovative learning solutions that drive performance, foster career growth, and align with our strategic objectives.

As an L&D Specialist, you will champion a culture of continuous learning, ensuring our employees have the skills and knowledge to excel in their current roles and prepare for future challenges. This position requires a professional who is not only adept at instructional design and facilitation but also possesses a deep understanding of adult learning principles and can translate complex information into accessible and actionable training. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough training needs assessments across various departments to identify skill gaps and development opportunities.
  • Design, develop, and update engaging and effective learning content, including e-learning modules, workshops, presentations, and job aids, primarily for English-speaking audiences.
  • Facilitate interactive training sessions, workshops, and team-building activities, both virtually and in-person.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of L&D programs through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics, making data-driven improvements.
  • Manage and administer the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring accurate record-keeping and accessibility of resources.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and external vendors to develop specialized training programs.
  • Stay abreast of L&D best practices, emerging technologies, and trends to continually enhance our learning offerings.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in an L&D specialist or similar role.
  • Strong command of the English language, both written and verbal, with excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and deliver engaging training materials and programs.
  • Proficiency in instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) administration.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or a related field.
  • Certification in instructional design, training, or coaching (e.g., CIPD, ATD).
  • Experience with multimedia development tools for e-learning content creation.
  • Familiarity with competency frameworks and career pathing.
