Key Responsibilities
- Identify and qualify new corporate business opportunities within the White River, Ocho Rios region and surrounding areas, developing a robust pipeline.
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve and exceed challenging sales targets and revenue objectives.
- Cultivate and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with corporate clients, serving as a trusted advisor and understanding their evolving business needs.
- Conduct comprehensive market research and competitor analysis to identify industry trends, market gaps, and potential areas for growth.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, bespoke proposals, and pitches to prospective corporate clients, articulating the value proposition of JN Group's offerings.
- Negotiate complex contracts and close agreements with corporate clients to maximize profits and ensure optimal client satisfaction.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams (e.g., product development, marketing, legal, credit, client services) to develop integrated solutions and ensure seamless client onboarding and support.
- Proactively monitor client satisfaction, address concerns promptly, and identify upselling/cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales and prospecting activities, client interactions, and pipeline progress in the CRM system.
- Represent the JN Group at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to enhance brand visibility, build a strong professional network, and generate high-quality leads.
- Provide regular, insightful reports on sales performance, market insights, and strategic recommendations to senior management.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in corporate business development, B2B sales, or key account management.
- Demonstrated track record of consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets and successfully growing corporate portfolios.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication, presentation, and advanced negotiation skills.
- Strong understanding of corporate financial products, services, and the broader financial services industry.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and advanced capabilities in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Proven strategic thinking with a proactive, self-motivated, and results-driven approach.
- Ability to work independently, manage a pipeline effectively, and collaborate effectively as part of a dynamic team.
- Excellent networking, relationship-building, and interpersonal capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Economics, or a closely related field.
- Prior experience in the financial services, banking, insurance, or corporate solutions industry in Jamaica.
- An existing robust network of corporate contacts and decision-makers within the Ocho Rios and broader St. Ann parish region.
- Postgraduate qualification or relevant professional certifications in sales, business management, or finance.
