Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic, highly organized, and customer-focused Receptionist to be the welcoming face and voice of our corporate office in Discovery Bay, St. Ann. Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and welcome all visitors, clients, and employees to the corporate office with professionalism and courtesy.
- Manage a multi-line phone system, directing calls efficiently and taking accurate messages as required.
- Oversee the main reception area, ensuring it remains tidy, presentable, and well-stocked with necessary materials.
- Sort and distribute incoming mail, packages, and deliveries, and prepare outgoing correspondence.
- Maintain visitor logs and issue visitor badges in accordance with company security protocols.
- Schedule and manage appointments for meeting rooms, ensuring resources are allocated effectively.
- Provide administrative support to various departments, including data entry, filing, scanning, and document preparation.
- Assist with the coordination of office events, meetings, and catering arrangements as needed.
- Handle inquiries and provide information to the public, customers, and internal staff.
- Monitor and order office supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained.
- Operate standard office equipment, including photocopiers, scanners, and fax machines.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines, upholding the highest standards of confidentiality and integrity.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative, or similar role (minimum 1-2 years).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Professional attitude and appearance.
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when dealing with issues.
