Job Description

Are you an enthusiastic, reliable, and warm-hearted individual with a passion for childcare and a desire to experience life in a vibrant Scottish city? Career.zycto is actively seeking a bright, English-speaking Au Pair to join a welcoming family located in the charming Fountainbridge area of Edinburgh. This is a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in Scottish culture, improve your English language skills (if desired), and become an integral part of a loving household.

Our client family, based in a lively residential area with excellent transport links and amenities, is looking for an Au Pair to provide crucial support with their children, aged 5 and 8. This role offers a wonderful blend of responsibility, cultural exchange, and personal growth. You will enjoy a private, comfortable room within the family home, along with all meals and a generous weekly stipend, ensuring you have the financial freedom to explore Edinburgh’s rich history, stunning landscapes, and bustling social scene. The family values open communication, mutual respect, and creating a supportive environment where everyone feels at home.

As an Au Pair, you’ll be more than just a helper; you’ll be a big sister/brother figure, a confidante, and a partner in the children’s daily adventures. We envision this role as a true cultural exchange, offering you the chance to share your own culture and traditions while fully embracing the Scottish way of life. This position is perfect for someone who is independent, proactive, and genuinely enjoys spending time with children, helping them learn, play, and grow. If you’re ready for an unforgettable adventure, keen to build lasting relationships, and eager to make Edinburgh your temporary home, we encourage you to apply and discover the fantastic opportunity awaiting you.
