As a Remote Business Analyst at TCS, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business stakeholders and technical development teams. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth analysis of client business processes, systems, and workflows to identify pain points and opportunities for improvement.
- Gather, document, and prioritize business and functional requirements from various stakeholders using techniques such as interviews, workshops, and surveys.
- Translate high-level business requirements into detailed functional specifications, user stories, use cases, and process flows for development teams.
- Collaborate closely with technical architects, developers, and QA engineers throughout the software development lifecycle to ensure solutions meet business needs.
- Facilitate requirement review sessions and obtain sign-offs from stakeholders.
- Assist in creating test plans, conducting user acceptance testing (UAT), and validating that implemented solutions meet specified requirements.
- Provide ongoing support and clarification to development and testing teams during the implementation phase.
- Act as a subject matter expert for assigned business areas and applications.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in an IT environment.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, particularly Agile/Scrum.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including presentation and negotiation abilities.
- Proficiency in creating detailed documentation, including functional specifications, user stories, and process models.
- Familiarity with requirements management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps).
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote setting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA).
- Experience with specific domains such as Finance, Healthcare, Retail, or Manufacturing.
- Familiarity with data analysis tools and techniques (e.g., SQL, Power BI, Tableau).
