Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, format, and proofread legal documents, correspondence, pleadings, and briefs with precision and accuracy.
  • Manage and organize physical and electronic client files, ensuring confidentiality and easy retrieval.
  • Schedule appointments, manage calendars, and coordinate meetings, depositions, and court hearings.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing communications, including phone calls, emails, and mail, professionally and promptly.
  • Prepare and process expense reports, invoices, and other financial documentation.
  • Conduct basic legal research and gather relevant information as required.
  • Assist with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and witness lists.
  • Liaise effectively with clients, court personnel, opposing counsel, and internal team members.
  • Maintain an organized and efficient office environment.
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to assigned lawyers and legal professionals.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Legal Secretary or in a similar legal administrative role.
  • Proficiency in legal terminology, procedures, and documentation.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Discretion and ability to handle confidential information with utmost integrity.
  • Familiarity with legal software and case management systems.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications
