You’ll be instrumental in upholding our brand’s style guide (and assisting in its evolution where necessary) and ensuring consistency across all platforms. Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all content adheres to established brand style guides, tone of voice, and industry best practices.
  • Fact-check information and verify sources as needed to maintain credibility and accuracy.
  • Collaborate effectively with content creators, PR specialists, and marketing teams to refine copy and incorporate feedback.
  • Provide constructive feedback and suggestions for improving content quality and readability.
  • Manage multiple editing projects simultaneously, meeting strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Contribute to the development and ongoing maintenance of editorial guidelines and best practices.
  • Stay informed about industry trends in language, grammar, and content creation.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional command of the English language, including grammar, spelling, punctuation, and style.
  • Proven experience as a copy editor or proofreader, preferably within an agency or fast-paced content environment.
  • Deep understanding of various style guides (e.g., AP, Chicago) and the ability to adapt to house styles.
  • Strong attention to detail and a meticulous approach to work.
