Job Description

Career.zycto is actively seeking skilled Radiographers to join our network of premier healthcare facilities in Bedminster, Bristol. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform a wide range of diagnostic imaging procedures (X-ray, Fluoroscopy, CT, MRI, Ultrasound as per scope of practice) in accordance with departmental protocols and national guidelines.
  • Ensure accurate patient identification, appropriate examination techniques, and optimal image quality for diagnostic interpretation.
  • Prioritize patient care, comfort, and safety throughout the imaging process, including explaining procedures and managing anxieties.
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, conducting routine checks and reporting faults as necessary.
  • Collaborate effectively with radiologists, medical consultants, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and contribute to data collection for quality improvement initiatives.
  • Adhere to strict radiation protection guidelines for patients, staff, and the general public.
  • Participate in continuing professional development (CPD) and training initiatives to enhance skills and knowledge.

Required Skills

  • Current registration as a Radiographer in the United States (e.g., ARRT certification).
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Radiography or Diagnostic Imaging.
  • Minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience in a clinical radiography setting.
  • Demonstrable expertise in operating modern diagnostic imaging equipment.
  • Strong understanding of radiation protection principles and patient safety protocols.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered approach.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Eligibility to register with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) in the UK (or willingness to complete the process with our support).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience working in an international healthcare setting.
  • Specialization or advanced certification in modalities such as CT, MRI, or Ultrasound.
  • Familiarity with UK healthcare systems (NHS or private sector).
  • Evidence of recent continuing professional development.
