Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior sound engineers in the setup, calibration, and operation of audio equipment for live events, studio recordings, and post-production projects.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of audio gear, including microphones, mixers, speakers, amplifiers, and digital audio workstations (DAWs).
- Support sound checks and rehearsals, ensuring optimal audio levels and clarity.
- Aid in the recording, editing, mixing, and mastering of audio content under supervision.
- Contribute to the organization and inventory management of audio equipment and cables.
- Learn and apply best practices for signal flow, gain staging, and acoustic treatment.
- Collaborate effectively with production teams, artists, and clients to achieve desired audio outcomes.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and industry standards.
- Actively participate in training sessions and seek opportunities for continuous professional development in audio engineering.
- Document audio configurations, settings, and procedures for future reference.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of audio principles, acoustics, and signal flow.
