Career.zycto is seeking a passionate and dedicated Education Consultant to join our vibrant team in Paisley, Glasgow. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct one-on-one consultations with students to assess their academic background, interests, and career goals.
  • Provide expert guidance on course selection, university admissions processes, and scholarship opportunities.
  • Assist students with drafting compelling personal statements and preparing for interviews.
  • Organise and facilitate educational workshops and seminars for student groups.
  • Stay informed about current educational trends, university programs, and admission criteria across various institutions.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential student records and progress reports.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and enhance educational resources and strategies.
  • Represent Career.zycto at educational fairs and outreach events.
  • Offer post-admission support and advice to students as needed.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Counselling, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in educational consulting, admissions, or career guidance.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with students and parents.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Deep understanding of UK higher education system and application procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Experience with international education systems and student recruitment.
  • Fluency in additional languages relevant to our diverse student base.
  • Certified Career Development Professional (CDP) or equivalent accreditation.
