Key Responsibilities
- Design and book customized travel itineraries including flights, accommodation, tours, cruises, and ground transportation.
- Communicate effectively with clients in English to understand their travel needs, preferences, and budgets.
- Provide expert advice on destinations, travel documents, visa requirements, customs, and local attractions.
- Process bookings, reservations, and payments accurately and efficiently using various booking systems.
- Handle client inquiries, resolve issues, and provide exceptional customer service before, during, and after travel.
- Stay updated on global travel regulations, industry trends, and new travel products/destinations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and travel suppliers.
- Promote additional travel services and packages where appropriate.
- Manage documentation and administrative tasks related to client bookings.
Required Skills
- Fluent written and spoken English communication skills.
- Proven experience as a Travel Agent or Travel Consultant.
- Strong knowledge of international travel destinations, geography, and travel logistics.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using GDS (Global Distribution Systems) like Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo, or similar booking platforms.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
Preferred Qualifications
- Travel and Tourism Diploma or relevant certification.
