Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement automation scripts and tools to improve efficiency and reliability of systems and processes.
- Identify opportunities for automation within existing manual workflows and propose innovative solutions.
- Integrate automation solutions with various systems and platforms, including CI/CD pipelines, cloud environments, and monitoring tools.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to gather requirements and deliver robust automation frameworks.
- Perform thorough testing and debugging of automation scripts to ensure accuracy, performance, and reliability.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for all automation processes, tools, and configurations.
- Monitor automation systems for performance issues, troubleshoot problems, and implement corrective actions.
- Stay current with emerging automation technologies, tools, and best practices, and recommend their adoption where beneficial.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of our automation codebase and standards.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, Bash, or Ruby.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and methodologies (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their automation capabilities.
- Strong understanding of version control systems, particularly Git.
