Key Responsibilities

  • Undergo comprehensive training to understand all aspects of the bail bond process and relevant provincial laws.
  • Learn to interview clients and their co-signers to assess eligibility for bail bonds.
  • Explain the terms and conditions of bail agreements clearly and thoroughly to clients.
  • Assist in completing all necessary paperwork and legal documentation accurately and efficiently.
  • Develop skills in financial transactions related to bail bond premiums and collateral.
  • Communicate effectively with court personnel, legal counsel, and law enforcement agencies.
  • Provide empathetic support and guidance to clients and their families during stressful times.
  • Assist in tracking client court dates and ensuring compliance with bail conditions.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to all ethical and professional standards.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment.

Required Skills

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain composure and professionalism under pressure.
  • High level of integrity, trustworthiness, and ethical conduct.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications (Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in Legal Studies, Criminal Justice, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in a customer service or client-facing role.
  • Familiarity with the Leduc area and local judicial system.
  • Bilingualism (English and French) is considered an asset.
