Job Description
We are seeking a highly creative, empathetic, and technically skilled Podcast Producer to lead the development and production of a groundbreaking new podcast series specifically tailored to support and engage foreigners living in London and across the UK. This pivotal role requires a blend of artistic vision, meticulous technical execution, and a deep understanding of cross-cultural communication to create compelling, informative, and inspiring audio content.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the entire podcast production lifecycle, from initial concept generation and topic research to guest sourcing, recording, post-production, and final distribution. This isn’t merely about audio engineering; it’s about crafting narratives that genuinely resonate with diverse international audiences, addressing their unique experiences, challenges, and successes. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the conceptualisation, planning, and execution of a new podcast series for foreigners.
- Develop engaging episode topics, outlines, and interview questions that address relevant issues.
- Research and identify diverse guests, including experts, community leaders, and individuals with unique stories.
- Conduct compelling interviews both in-person and remotely, ensuring a comfortable and engaging atmosphere.
- Record, edit, mix, and master audio to professional broadcast quality using industry-standard software.
- Create impactful intros, outros, and integrate sound design elements to enhance listener experience.
- Manage production schedules, deadlines, and budgets efficiently.
- Collaborate with marketing and content teams on promotional strategies and distribution plans across various platforms.
- Ensure all content is culturally sensitive, accurate, and provides genuine value to the target audience.
- Stay abreast of podcasting trends, technologies, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge.

Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years proven experience as a Podcast Producer or in a similar audio production role.
- Expert proficiency with audio editing software (e.g., Adobe Audition, Logic Pro X, Pro Tools).
- Strong understanding of sound design, mixing, mastering, and audio engineering principles.
- Exceptional interviewing, storytelling, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to craft engaging narratives and compelling content.
- A deep understanding of cultural sensitivities and diverse audience engagement strategies.
- Excellent project management, organisational, and time-management skills.
- Fluent in English, with outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
