Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive trend research and analysis for textile designs, colours, and patterns.
- Develop original textile prints, patterns, and surface designs using Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop).
- Collaborate with product development, manufacturing, and marketing teams to ensure design feasibility and market relevance.
- Prepare detailed design specifications and technical drawings for production.
- Select appropriate fabrics, materials, and embellishments for designs.
- Present design concepts and mood boards to internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage and maintain a comprehensive library of textile samples and design archives.
- Stay updated on sustainable practices and new technologies within the textile industry.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) for textile design.
- Strong portfolio showcasing creative and technical textile design work.
- Excellent understanding of colour theory, pattern repeat, and textile print techniques.
