Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing retail team through effective coaching, training, and performance management.
  • Drive store sales and profitability by achieving and exceeding daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service standards are consistently met, fostering a welcoming and engaging shopping experience.
  • Manage all aspects of store operations, including inventory control, visual merchandising, stock replenishment, and loss prevention.
  • Recruit, onboard, and schedule staff, ensuring optimal coverage and compliance with labour laws.
  • Implement and maintain robust health and safety procedures in line with company policies and regulations.
  • Analyse sales data and market trends to develop and execute local marketing and sales strategies.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and issues efficiently and professionally.
  • Oversee store administration, including cash handling, reporting, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain high standards of store cleanliness, organisation, and visual presentation.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience (4+ years) in retail management, preferably in a fast-paced or premium retail environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop a successful sales team.
  • Strong understanding of retail operations, including sales forecasting, inventory management, and visual merchandising.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with full professional fluency in English (verbal and written).
  • Results-oriented with a strong track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Proficiency in using POS systems and general computer applications.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by retail demands.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field.
  • Experience managing a store in a high-traffic urban area like London.
  • Knowledge of local market trends and consumer behaviour in Shoreditch.
  • Familiarity with advanced retail analytics software.
