Key Responsibilities
- Conduct property viewings with prospective tenants, effectively highlighting property features and amenities.
- Manage a portfolio of rental properties, ensuring high occupancy rates and tenant satisfaction.
- Negotiate lease agreements, prepare tenancy contracts, and ensure all legal documentation is accurate and compliant.
- Perform thorough tenant screenings, including reference checks and credit assessments.
- Advise landlords on market trends, rental valuations, and property presentation to maximize rental income.
- Handle tenant inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally, resolving issues as they arise.
- Coordinate maintenance requests between tenants and landlords, ensuring timely resolution.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local rental market conditions and relevant housing legislation.
- Assist international applicants with understanding the Canadian rental market and visa sponsorship process.
- Utilize CRM software to track leads, manage property listings, and organize appointments.
Required Skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Letting Agent or in a similar real estate role.
- Proven track record in property leasing and tenant relations.
- Strong negotiation and sales skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with real estate CRM software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
