Key Responsibilities
- Learn and apply fundamental leatherworking techniques, including cutting, skiving, gluing, and stitching under direct supervision.
- Assist experienced leather artisans in various stages of product creation, from material preparation to final assembly.
- Operate and maintain a variety of hand tools and specialized machinery safely and effectively after proper training.
- Perform quality checks on materials and finished products to ensure adherence to company standards.
- Prepare leather materials, including measuring, marking, and accurately cutting patterns.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace at all times, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Handle and store leather and other materials properly to prevent damage and waste.
