Key Responsibilities
- Participate actively in all training sessions, demonstrating a commitment to learning and skill development.
- Learn to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications for furniture pieces.
- Assist in the selection, measurement, and cutting of various wood types and other materials.
- Learn to operate and maintain woodworking machinery, including saws, planers, routers, and sanders, following all safety protocols.
- Develop proficiency in various joinery techniques, assembly, and fastening methods under supervision.
- Perform detailed sanding, staining, painting, and finishing tasks to achieve desired aesthetics and durability.
- Conduct quality control checks throughout the production process to ensure high standards are met.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all workshop safety regulations.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow and project completion.
- Handle and store materials properly to minimize waste and damage.
