Are you an experienced Scrum Master passionate about fostering high-performing, self-organizing teams? Career.zycto is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Scrum Master to join our innovative product development team in Hessle, Kingston upon Hull. As a Scrum Master at Career.zycto, you will act as a servant leader, facilitator, and coach, responsible for ensuring that Scrum is understood and enacted. You will remove impediments, shield the team from external distractions, and facilitate Scrum events to optimize team productivity and collaboration. Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-up, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective) effectively.
- Coach development teams and Product Owners on Agile principles and Scrum best practices.
- Remove impediments and blockers to team progress, proactively addressing issues.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, self-organization, and accountability within teams.
- Ensure transparent communication and collaboration between the team, Product Owner, and stakeholders.
- Protect the team from external interruptions and maintain focus on Sprint goals.
- Promote Agile metrics and tools for tracking team performance and delivery.
Required Skills
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master in a software development environment.
- Deep understanding of Agile principles and various frameworks (Scrum, Kanban).
- Excellent facilitation, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
- Ability to act as a servant leader and foster a collaborative team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced Scrum Master certification (e.g., A-CSM, PSM II).
- Experience with scaling Agile frameworks (e.g., SAFe, LeSS).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- Experience working with globally distributed teams.
